This site is designed to support online Foster/Adoptive Parent training offered by OCFS as well as provide supports for New York State foster parents. These supports include Right-Time Training as well as additional resources from NTDC. OCFS believes that the use of distance learning technology enables us to bring important training and support directly into the homes of New York State foster parents. By eliminating the need to travel, we can serve you better and make training and development more accessible.

The NYS Office of Children and Family Services Bureau of Training and Development, provide both live online training through the use of virtual classroom software, Webex as well as self-paced Right Time Training. To participate in the Right Time Trainings you will need internet access and a headset. To participate in the virtual classroom trainings you will also need a headset/microphone or a telephone to call into the training.
